D.A.W.G. POUND
(Doing Awesome With God)

Students in grades 7 through 9 meet weekly from September – May from 6:30-8:00 PM for classes in our café style setting called the DAWG Pound.  Our primary focus is on Morality and the History of the Church.  Each week we begin as a large group for opening prayer and the overview of the lesson for the week.  Then the class will break into smaller groups and work as teams on hands on activities that support our weekly topic.  When entering the 9^th grade, the youth will break out into a smaller class to finish their final preparation for Confirmation.  The 9^th grade will also attend a retreat in the spring. We do group service projects for the church and the community.  Optional weekend activities are planned throughout the year as well. The Sacrament of Confirmation is generally conferred by the Bishop in the spring of each year. For more information contact our DAWG Pound Ministry Team.
